Waterbottle Q2 Member Meeting Recap
This month, WaterBottle Co-Op held a member’s meeting for quarter two.
The itinerary included an address from our president, reviewing our mission statement and approving the treasurer’s report.
“Together, we can ensure that our co-op becomes a beacon of resilience, renewal and restoration, leading to ginormous community impact,” said Karmen Smith IX, president of Waterbottle and community property manager at Rising.
Another highlight of the meeting was approving the Community Excellence and Equity Committee, which has a mission to distribute equity to tenants and neighborhood stakeholders through co-op membership or other classes of co-op shares.
“We have the power to shape our destiny and create what we want to see in Baltimore and beyond for ourselves and for future generations, through our affordable housing initiatives to create community, sustainability and prosperity for all,” Smith said.
